There is no doubt, that cheese is the most common wine partner. Do allow the cheese to come to room temperature to enjoy it at its best. For red wines, pair a big flavor, full body wine with soft ripened cheeses such as brie or camembert, a spicy full body such as a Rioja, with sharp salty cheeses, such as cheddar, pecorino, Parmigiano-Reggiano, and for a fruit, or medium body such as a pinot noir, opt for a semi soft mild goat cheeses.

- 60g, walnuts, toasted
- Truffle honey such as white truffle honey from the Truffle Hunter. www.trufflehunter.co.uk
For a white wine cheese pairing, a full body white like a chardonnay would pair well with a gruyere, or a beaufort. Enjoy a light fruity white wine such as a Sauvignon, or a Pouilly-Fumé, or a pinot gris, with a fresh goat cheese, preferably, herbed. For a more complex spicy wine such as a Riesling, salty aged cheeses such as a pecorino or manchego should make the perfect match.
